Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager of Education at Armani beauty will support and work cross functionally with Education, Artistry & Events, reporting into the Head of Education. This position is the perfect opportunity for an individual with an interest in the Armani beauty customer experience and teaching adult learners. The Education team brings product knowledge, makeup artistry, effective selling skills & best in class client service to the forefront of the omni client experience through compelling & effective education programs across all retailers & product categories (makeup, skincare, & fragrance), with a key focus on modernizing education content & delivery through digital learning systems & formats.


The ideal candidate is a creative-minded self-starter with presentation skills & a demonstrated passion for client service & brand storytelling.

This role will help with the content creation for the brand, such as, client-facing content that drives incremental sales, client engagement, & fosters BA development in alignment with ARMANI beauty’s key strategic objectives.


Working closely with ARMANI & wider L’Oreal teams, this role will help support best-in-class client experiences by developing BAs, retailer partners, Field Leaders, & freelance support on selling skills, product knowledge, & application technique across all brand axes.


Job Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook, Teams and ability to learn internal software/systems
  • Strong collaboration skills and presenting to cross-functional teams
  • High level of organization and ability to prioritize
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail and creativity in problem-solving
  • Strong verbal communication, writing and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Can multi-task and complete projects on time
  • Ability to manage and drive projects forward

Preferred Experience

  • Willingness to work in a remote location
  • Preferred experience in the beauty industry, digital management experience


Judgment and Decision Making:

Close supervision is required for judgment or decision-making associated with this position.


Essential Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
:

  • Uniform management for all Beauty Artists
  • Manage workflow of Retail Experience projects and trainings; project management from inception to completion
  • Distribution of in-store and online event tools, assist with event execution as needed
  • Distribution of education tools, including training, in-store and artistry tools
  • Manage and place product orders via SHOP and manage relationship with warehouse partners
  • Work with Education & Artistry team on compiling training assets, including visual and video from OPERA
  • Assist with planning and execution of brand trainings and events (in-store and virtual), ensuring timely delivery of tools and assets
  • Purchase Order management of invoice processing and payment to vendors; resolve discrepancies and monthly maintenance; work with vendors on payment processes
  • Facilitate deck creation and updates for trainings and meetings
  • Assist with development of education programs and events, including social community, in-store event ideation, brand book, product one-pagers, presentations
