Job Description

Job Summary:

The Assistant Controller will assist in the day-to-day operations of the accounting department. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, managing the general ledger, and overseeing the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. The successful candidate will work closely with the Controller to ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.


Key Responsibilities:

•Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

•Manage the general ledger and ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

•Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including reviewing and approving invoices and payments.

•Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

•Reconcile bank statements and other financial statements.

•Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts.

•Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to management.

•Assist with the annual audit process.

•Ensure compliance with all accounting policies and procedures.

•Stay up-to-date with the latest accounting standards and regulations.


Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.

•3-5 years of accounting or finance experience.

•Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
