Job Description
Stauffers of Kissel Hill has a career opportunity for the ideal candidate to join their marketing team.


This is a full-time position requiring 45-50 hours per week.


This position will work closely with the Director of Marketing & Branding who is responsible for all marketing functions within Stauffers of Kissel Hill including direct strategic development of Stauffers marketing, advertising, events, PR, production and market research to drive traffic across retail stores and online websites resulting in sales growth. As one of the leaders of the marketing team, you must have a passion and enthusiasm for marketing. You must be flexible to adapt to last minute changes in plans and overall direction. Multi-tasking effectively across multiple projects is essential as is working closely with key stakeholders to ensure all teams are aligned to objectives and strategies.

Will learn these Key Responsibilities


  • Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
  • Lead internal & external teams to develop and execute promos and campaigns that align to approved standards.
  • Develops a plan to meet Board of Directors donation level total. Implements the plan with respect to both product and cash donation. Ensures the plan meets budget.
  • Excellent communicator in both written and verbal forms
  • Acts as the guardian of the brand ensuring that all communication is aligned to brand approved standards.
  • Responsible to direct inquires to best suited team member to respond.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, WordPress, Adobe Suite, Google Docs
  • Facilitates collaboration with Fresh Foods/Home & Garden COO's regarding day-to-day details, direction, and decisions for each line of business marketing plan.
  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media or a related field plus 7 -10+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Responsible for developing and distributing publicity for general notices, events, general news articles and arranging business related interviews as needed.
  • Experience with digital, content and social media marketing
  • Acts as Public Relations lead contact person
  • Develop & manage the annual marketing and advertising budget to achieve both short- & long-term corporate objections.
  • Proactively seek out opportunities to build awareness and increase frequency/loyalty.
  • Plans and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Oversees the daily activities of the marketing team, manage priorities/performance and deliver evaluations.
  • Maintain a competitive and innovative stance by monitoring competitor products, promotions and marketing activities/trends.
  • Develop content marketing communications for website, email and social.
  • Creative yet process-driven with an appreciation for analytics
