Grow your career as an Art Director within Inclusive Collection, one of our 14 industry-leading brands. In this role you will lead and mentor team to ideate, elevate and execute global design concepts for our luxury resort brands across all channels in the D2C and B2B spaces. Art Director leads the creative, conceptual thinking, development, and execution of integrated campaigns across all media and channels. The Art Director works closely with the Director, Creative Services to align on strategy and execution. You will collaborate with cross-functional leaders to nurture team relationships, improve workflow efficiencies, enhance quality of work, and ensure materials support business objectives and brand marketing strategies.

A successful Art Director will:

  • Actively participates in the review and approval process of creative deliverables ensuring aligned strategies and goals have been met
  • Set strategic objectives for creative & visual branding across all touchpoints, integrating data, functionality & aesthetics
  • Responsible for employee development and retention including work force and compensation planning. Responsible for cross-functional team training and employee motivation for long term career planning.
  • Works closely with/manages external vendors to support business requirements and goals
  • Leads the creative, conceptual thinking, development, and execution of integrated campaigns across all media and channels
  • Establish creative strategy and provide clear design direction for a high volume of deliverables across all channels, media and markets including, but not limited to, transactional and educational websites, digital ads, emails, web assets, landing pages, social media, and print adapting designs for best performance by channel
  • Leads, mentors, and reviews performance of a team of designers with varying skill levels and areas of expertise
  • Establishes and enforces processes, tools and training to improve team and individual performance, workflows, collaboration, industry knowledge and maximize available platforms
  • Participate in special projects and perform hands-on work as assigned

A successful Art Director will have:

  • Exhibit exceptional time management, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Proficient in HTML5 and CSS
  • Experience leading a remote team a plus
  • Experience in an agency or in house creative organization
  • Experience working and creating for international markets a plus
  • Expertise in creative print and digital production processes
  • Identify opportunities to A/B test designs and build understanding of what drives the best results for each channel
  • Advanced knowledge of CMS (EpiServer) and ESP (Pushtech)
  • Proficient in Premier Pro and After Effects a plus
  • Spanish fluency a plus, but not required
  • Comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Advanced typography skills and an eye for detail and quality
  • Basic skills in Microsoft office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Technical knowledge of mobile/browser/platform constraints and how they affect design
  • Use available qualitative and quantitative data to make user-centered design decisions
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
  • Clear, crisp, and concise communicator with strong interpersonal, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; commensurate experience acceptable
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, InDesign)
  • Culturally astute
  • 10+ years design experience with minimum 3 years of direct people management
  • Current on design trends, innovations, and technological developments
  • Manage multiple team projects, troubleshoot issues/constraints and drive a sense of urgency to meet deadlines
  • Experience designing for web accessibility (WCAG 2.0. A, AA, etc.)
  • Proven leadership ability and experience managing/mentoring at all levels of the design team
  • Proficient in enterprise-level project management software
