Job Summary/Basic Function

Assist the Head Baseball Coach organize and administer all aspects of our NCAA Division I Baseball program. Essential duties include but are not limited to: Oversight and development of the baseball hitting staff, development of daily workouts for hitter, monitor hitting practice and game strategy for hitters, day to day coaching of hitters; individual skill instruction; recruiting qualified NCAA Division I academically sound and competitive student athletes; scheduling to enhance championship opportunities; organizing and arranging team travel plans; oversee and promote compliance of NCAA rules among staff, student athletes and representatives of athletic interest; serve as a positive role model for the student athletes; and budget assigned funds. Other tasks include but are not limited to: duties of the on the field hitting coach; scouting hitting patterns of hitters; on and off campus recruiting and assist with game field preparations and overall player improvements and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

Required Education

Bachelor's degree required. High School diploma with four (4) years of College, High School or Professional coaching and/or collegiate or professional competition experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

Required Related Experience

Bachelor's degree: Two (2) years of College, High school or Professional coaching and/or collegiate or professional competition experience required. Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.

HS diploma and four (4) years of College, High School or Professional coaching and/or collegiate or professional competition experience covers this two (2) years experience requirement.

Desirable Related Experience

Four years of College or Professional coaching and/or collegiate or professional competition experience.
