Join TotalEnergies Renewables USA, LLC as a Financial Asset Management Analyst in our Austin, TX office and we offer a hybrid work schedule. This is a new addition to our team as we are strengthening our presence in renewable energies.
Electricity demand is set to rise faster than global demand for energy as a whole in the coming years. According to the International Energy Agency’s Sustainable Development Scenario, renewable energies will represent more than 35% of the world’s energy mix in 2040. To support this growth, our ambition is to achieve 100 gigawatts of gross installed renewable power generation capacity by 2030, through the development of our solar and wind energy businesses around the world.
The position is part of TotalEnergies’ financial asset management team, responsible for managing the long-term financial performance and compliance of a portfolio of commercial and utility scale solar and storage assets. The position will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders, primarily on operational activities, to support the management of commercial, contractual, regulatory, and reporting obligations of the portfolio projects to ensure compliance and maximize return on investment for the various project investors.
The financial Asset Management team is part of UPP and Renewables division. Primary project types include commercial scale rooftops, carports, and ground mounted solar and storage typically with behind the meter interconnections. Focus is on PPA and tax equity-financed deals during the operations phase.
What You Will Bring:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, especially Excel
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and ability to work closely with members of different business groups and functions of a global company at all levels.
- Strong desire to advance the adoption of renewable energies in the global energy mix.
- Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, solar markets, and related regulatory issues
- Comfortable in fast-paced, growing company
- Detail-oriented and capable of driving multiple projects simultaneously.
- University degree in Finance, Engineering, Business, Accounting, or another related field
- 2-4 years of relevant industry experience, ideally in renewable energy finance
- Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years related experience.
- OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience
- Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to perform job tasks independently in an unstructured environment with limited direction.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
