As an Assembly Technician at AEM, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication and engineering process, responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting complex systems and components. Working closely with our multidisciplinary team of engineers, you will ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards and exceed customer expectations. This is an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology and contribute to the development of groundbreaking solutions in the clean energy field.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues during the assembly process and propose effective solutions
- Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes, test results, and any modifications made during the assembly phase
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize assembly processes and improve product quality
- Conduct functional and performance testing to ensure the proper operation of assembled systems
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand assembly requirements
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components to construct complex systems, following established procedures and guidelines
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant vocational training is a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent manual dexterity
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Familiarity with a variety of assembly tools, equipment, and techniques
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Proven experience as an Assembly Technician or similar role, preferably in a fabrication or engineering environment
