Overview Assembly Equipment Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair and installation of assembly equipment and machinery. They must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, and be able to repair and maintain the equipment. They must also be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Detailed Job Description Assembly Equipment Technicians are responsible for the maintenance, repair and installation of assembly equipment and machinery. They must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, and be able to repair and maintain the equipment. They must also be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. They must be able to work with a variety of tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and computerized diagnostic equipment. They must be able to work with a variety of materials, including metals, plastics, and composites. They must be able to work with a variety of machines, including lathes, mills, and presses. They must be able to work with a variety of software programs, including CAD/CAM and PLC programming. Job Skill Requirements• Knowledge of assembly equipment and machinery

Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification or degree in a related field
• Previous experience in assembly equipment maintenance and repair
