Artist Coordinator @Universal Music Group

:

• Coordinate with the video dept to properly route VRAs
• Create and maintain the agenda for the clearance meetings across all 3 labels
• Initiate the clearance process with third party labels to obtain approval
• Work with the team members toassist with lyric review
• Maintain multiple charts that track the flow of music and projects in and out of the department
• Coordinate with Artist management to obtain approval to move forward with clearance, submits clearance requests to the appropriate clearance agency, and monitors and tracks the clearance process
• Facilitate clearance requests from 3rd parties, seeks approval from artist management and from label heads
• Review treatments and videos to advise of any potential copyright, trademark or public relations risks.Works in conjunction with - - - Legal Executives for various labels videos.
• Schedule meetings(weekly clearance meetings; individual team meetings)
• Facilitate license requests in the GCS system
• Coordinate with the A&Rteams across labels to obtain information on upcoming releases
• Assist with catalogingall label waivers to make sure all depts are aware of terms (finance, royalties, film & TV, marketing, etc)
