Legacy
- Work with Communications team to develop a strategy to commemorate the foundation’s 75th anniversary.
- Promote the legacy of the foundation’s grantmaking impact to staff (and trustees) through regular articles, presentations, exhibits.
- Conduct oral history interviews with trustees and designated senior staff.
- Conduct research and source images for retiring board members and senior staff,and “in memoriam” articles for notable figures in Knight’s history.
- Support Knight Foundation staff by answering questions and locating historical information or documents in the digital or physical archives to support their work.
- Develop and maintain a historical timeline of key strategies, events, and personnel.
Information Governance
- Plan, write and send regular messages to staff on information governance and records management topics.
- Update records management training materials as needed.
- Conduct records inventories with various departments and programs as the need arises.
- Regularly review and update information governance and records management policies, including updating the retention schedule.
Archiving
- Audit the KF Digital Archive to identify gaps.
- Review and Inventory historical records in offsite storage, sending to RAC as appropriate.
- Review and transfer digital records to KF Digital Archive and KF Closed Archive.
- Monitor the Archive Review folders and transfer records to the appropriate digital archive location
- Manage RAC grants and payment schedules.
- Update descriptive inventories.
- Facilitate digital agreement with Rockefeller Archive Center (RAC) to transfer digital records.

- A degree (in progress or completed) in Information Systems, Library and Information Sciences, Business Administration, or Records and Information Management is preferred.
- Research experience and digital literacy.
