Position: Application Support Specialist


Location: Indianapolis, IN


We are seeking a Application Support Specialist to join our team. The Application Support Specialist will work closely with our engineering and architecture teams to provide support in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software, including Bentley and Autodesk software such as OpenRoads Designer and Civil 3D/Revit. This person should also have a passion for innovation and emerging technologies in the AEC industry.


Responsibilities


  • Creating and maintaining CAD libraries of standard details and components
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of CAD standards and procedures
  • Participate in internal Beta testing programs
  • Use reseller partnerships to find answers that can’t be solved internally
  • Provide support for CAD applications in the virtual workspace platform
  • Assist in testing procedures of all new CAD applications
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation and records
  • Troubleshooting and resolving software issues
  • Providing technical support for CAD software, including OpenRoads Designer/Civil 3D/Revit, to team members
  • Conducting CAD software training for new team members
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure consistency and quality of CAD drawings


Qualifications


  • Experience in architecture or engineering industry preferred
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in CAD support or related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Associate's degree in Computer-Aided Design, Architecture, or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bentley software, such as OpenRoads Designer
