Accountabilities


  • Responsible to contributing to transforming healthcare delivery through efficient and user-friendly implementations.


Role and Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the secure and accurate transfer data from the legacy systems to the new platform, ensuring data integrity and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Perform system configuration and customizations to align with practice needs, including setting up user access, templates, and clinical workflows.
  • Perform needs assessments by conducting thorough assessments of organization and practice requirements and workflows to customize the application accordingly optimizing user experience and overall efficiency.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of the implementation process including project plans, user manuals and training manuals.
  • Meet or exceed departmental KPIs
  • Perform and coordinate system updates with client and IT
  • Demonstrate skills and aptitude in meeting planning and facilitation
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Serve on project committees and workstreams, as assigned
  • Provide excellent communication in a timely and accurate way to build trust with our users and leadership
  • Provide onsite support in the clinics for EMR Implementations and related issues.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of the application to identify and address potential issues before and after implementation.
  • Ability to function effectively in a multi-tasking environment
  • Perform basic project management activities coordinating with various stakeholders, including healthcare providers, IT teams, and management to ensure smooth and efficient deployment.
  • Represent high personal and professional conduct
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and insure the implementation adheres to relevant compliance and security standards.
  • Ability to work as a "team player", always supporting other team members
  • Provide ongoing support to address, respond and document customer inquiries during the implementation process using the organization's ticketing system
  • Facilitate change management initiatives to promote user adoption and minimize resistance to the new platform, fostering a positive transition for the staff.
  • Ensures providers are registered to access interfaces in coordination with the Integration team (e.g., eRX, Controlled Substance, EPCS and labs).
  • Ability to prioritize and facilitate processes
  • Conduct regular reviews with the Project Management team of project status and timeline, supported with documentation of such events
  • Promote best practice, standardized workflows to end users
  • Designated as an application super user
  • Demonstrate the ability to remain calm, tolerant and professional in a stressful, demanding and ever-changing environment
  • Participates in planning process by providing input to Project Management team related to project plans


Minimum Qualifications and Requirements :


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Willingness to work after hours or non-scheduled hours due to implementation schedules, upgrades or critical outages.
  • Local travel, as needed
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Positive, service minded attitude
  • 2+ years experience working in a healthcare environment
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical operations and electronic medical record systems
  • A commitment to excellence with a passion for going above and beyond to help people
  • Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues, as needed


Preferred Experience :


  • Familiar with various EMR softwares and technology platforms
  • 2+ years experience working in an EMR implementation role
