Utilize sound software development life cycle (SDLC) practices and adhere to established procedures for delivering application solutions that support critical business strategies.
Work closely with suppliers to ensure successful software or hardware implementation, maintenance, and support.
Commit application configuration updates to the stage/test environment and plan for rollbacks.
Troubleshoot issues and resolve incidents in support of existing production applications.
Take the initiative to correct quality problems or notify others of quality issues as appropriate.
Prepare documentation and provide user training on new system applications.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure successful software or hardware implementation and support.
Facilitate architecture reviews and ensure that all architectural products are updated and maintained.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the full architecture stack and effectively communicate on a variety of information technology (IT) topics.
Identify and solve technical, process, or interpersonal problems to ensure projects are delivered within required timelines and expectations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field of study.
Three (3) years of experience in application development,
Experienced with Episys, Synapsys, Synergy, ARCU, PowerOn
Experience with Fiserv DNA, FIS Miser, Correlation Keystone, MeridianLink, Encompass, Digital Insight, Q2, COTS, and Image Center.
Mainframe coding experience using COBOL.
Project management experience in an iterative project management methodology.
Experience supporting business applications within a financial institution.
Ability to program in at least one programming language, such as JavaScript.
Familiarity with the Unix operating system, Unix shell scripting, or similar.
Experience with one or more scripting languages (PowerShell).
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification or previous work within an ITIL environment.
