  • Technology is Our Thing: We employ an in-house team of coders that are building the sickest apartment locating system on planet earth. Our proprietary tools help you easily manage a pipeline of thousands of customers. Apartment Locating; Welcome to 2018.
  • Benefits: We have legit benefits including comprehensive insurance, paid time off and more.
  • Support: Our 20 person support staff handles everything including invoicing, collections, moves, rebates, tech support, IT, HR, advertising / marketing, and more. Need help? We have a person for that.
  • Leads: We have leads. Every agent receives at least 180 new leads per month. Every lead is a renter that has registered on our website.
  • Training & Development: You’re not alone. We provide the training and ongoing sales development to ensure every employee has the tools they need to be successful. We provide contests on a consistent basis to keep our employees engaged and to promote healthy competition amongst our agents.
  • BYOB (Bring Your Own Business): Honestly, we don’t really need your leads - So we reward you with a 70% commission split on all Self-Generated leases. Want to sell houses? That’s cool too. While most of our agents focus exclusively on their “9 to 5” Office Agent role, we provide the flexibility to pursue all real estate endeavors.
  • A Real Job: Our agents are W2 employees; not independent contractors with no guaranteed paycheck. P.S. That means we also cover a large chunk of your payroll taxes.
  • No Agent Expenses: No desk fees or additional expenses. We set you up with everything you need (desk, computer, phone, fax, etc.) and we even cover your marketing material and some license renewal fees.
  • Referral Program: Increase your pipeline using our automated client referral program. Every client receives thank you letters, emails and business cards without you lifting a finger. #ThatWasEasy
  • Personal Agent Websites: We build a personal website for every agent. Use your website to generate leads and let clients search listings (here’s an example: www.umovefree.com/Agent/krismunger/
  • Realtor® Designation Optional: Want to be a Realtor? We’re setup for that. Would you rather avoid the Realtor fees? That’s fine too. Realtor designation is optional for our agents.
  • A Real Career: Let’s be honest; real estate has more turnover than a used car lot. We’re different. Our average agent has been with us for more than 5 years*. Our size and success also provides advancement opportunities for agents that want to build a long term career. (*average tenure across all full time office agents as of November 2019)
  • Guaranteed Income: Every agent gets paid a guaranteed base plus bonuses.
Income Expectations:
  • Income Potential: Our average agent earns $53,000 per year ($58,000 average including benefits)** and our top producers earn a lot more ($120K+) * The numbers above are the average gross income across all of our full time Office Agents, after the first 12 months of employment, for year 2019. Actual range was $32,499 to $120,722 (or $36,722 to $125,154 with benefits included).
  • Starting Pay: New agents make less. To support new agents as they ramp up we provide a minimum guaranteed base of $2000 to $2200 per month (based on hours worked) plus standing monthly and quarterly bonuses. The base is guaranteed; not a draw or advance. Agents meeting expectations receive raises monthly for the first four (4) months and quarterly thereafter.
Requirements
  • Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) license required (active or inactive)
  • Hustle required - Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Apartment Locating or on-site property management experience preferred
  • Inside Sales experience (sales via phone, email and text) preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Full Time: 37 to 40 per week minimum
  • Proven sales experience required
Relevant Job History: If you have job experience in any of the following fields you may be the perfect fit for this position - Real Estate Agent, Realtor, Apartment Locating Specialist, Apartment Locator, Apartment Leasing Agent, Leasing Specialist, Multifamily, Inside Sales, Sales Associate, and other related fields.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist renters, close leases and achieve quarterly sales quotas
  • Help renters find apartments that match their rental preferences
  • Maintain your database of prospects (past, present and future) using our software
  • Work in a fast paced inside sales environment from our corporate office in Las Colinas, Irving, Texas
  • Inside Sales - 100+ calls per day. Frequent follow up via phone, email and text message
  • Work 180+ new leads per month (we provide the leads)
  • In-Office Attendance Mandatory: Newly hired employees are considered Office Agents in Training for the first several months of employment. A key requirement of this position is the ability to work from our office located in Las Colinas, Irving, TX. Work-from-Home is not available to Office Agents in Training.
