Summary
Smart Apartment Solutions is seeking experienced leasing professionals with tax credit or affordable housing experience for the Property Management Industry. As a Leasing Agent, you are the first step in creating a sense of community for current and prospective residents. You are responsible for providing exceptional customer service and using your sales skills to convert property tours to leases. Consider this role as the first line of defense for the property manager.
This position reports to the property manager and requires strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions.

• Oversee and ensure the accurate completion of application and lease paperwork
• Sell/Lease apartment inventory
• Greet prospective residents and work with current residents to resolve concerns and submit service requests
• Adhere to marketing campaigns as needed
• Assist the Property Manager to ensure compliance with all resident files
• Answer the phone and maintain organized and proper filing systems
• Assist with community events and resident retention

Education Level
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
Must Haves

• Attention to detail
• Assist the Property Manager to ensure compliance with all resident files
• Minimum of 6 months' experience within the Multifamily Industry
• Ability to work weekends
• Maintain a friendly and customer service-oriented approach to co-workers and customers
• Assist with community events and resident retention
• Ability and desire to jump in and assist with other community projects
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and dependability
• Property Management software knowledge such as Yardi, OneSite (or equivalent property management software, and BlueMoon

Good To Have

• Customer Service background
• Knowledge and experience in Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), Section 42, or other affordable housing programs
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Knowledge of low-income certification HCCP
• CALP (Certified Apartment Leasing Professional)
