Anr Quality Assurance Lead - Juniper (Hawkeye)

Alaska Northstar Resources (ANR) is currently seeking a fully remote Quality Assurance Lead to join our team for an exciting and long-term program supporting a US government program. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

• Provide excellent facilitation and problem-solving skills in working with teams for the approval (or exceptions) for the product acceptance (e.g., Product Security, Performance Testing, Vulnerability Testing, reliability & fault tolerance testing etc).
• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, dependencies or potential issues.
• Have the ability to work under pressure in a multi-task environment.
• Have experience working with Complex Systems.
• Understand complex business and functional requirements and provide direction in designing the technical test cases that thoroughly test the tech stack from architectural standpoint and meet the product requirements.
• Provide strong team lead and interpersonal skills.
• Proactively identify and communicate risks and opportunities for improvement across all products and test frameworks.
• Participate in scrum & product planning and be responsible for all phases and types of testing, for right-sized testing, including but not limited to strategies, requirements, planning, management, execution and reporting. Drive the building of test strategies & methodologies, automation and site monitoring focused on infrastructure and high availability.
• Work with product, engineering teams in implementing & enforcing quality gates at each stage of pipeline.
• Manage test data architecture definition and requests.
• Plan, organize, and implement day to day activities of testing and work with developers, architects, and technical release managers within an agile/scrum environment.

Requirements:

Candidate must be US Citizen

Candidate must have ability to obtain and maintain US government Common Access Card (CAC)

Candidate must have ability to obtain and maintain position of Public Trust with US Government

Candidate must have Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, CIS, Engineering, or other relevant field of study

Candidate must have Certified Testing Foundation Level (CTFL).

Candidate must have 7+ years experience with the following:

• Object-oriented programming using technologies like Core Java, Restful, SOAP, message queues, Apache Kafka, Jenkins, Eclipse, IntelliJ, Maven, Gradle etc.
• Supporting Quality Assurance programs in a mid to large size company.
• Project Management skills.
• CI/CD technologies, such as JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket (or another Git server), and Jenkins.
• QA Testing
• System testing best practices and methodologies.
• Plan, organize and direct Quality Assurance activities to achieve maximum operational efficiency in meeting department and company goals and objectives.
• 508 compliance testing.
• Overseeing the design, development, and implementation of quality assurance standards for testing.
• Automation experience (Selenium, Appium, Soap UI, RestAssured, Postman, Jira).
