What To Expect
Our Inventory Fleet team is responsible for the optimization of our operating fleet and inventory vehicle sales process. Determining the best strategies to ensure that our Fleet is most appropriately allocated and effectively used directly impacts our ability to achieve Sales and Delivery goals while providing an incredible customer experience.
In this role, your area of focus will be to provide team wide support in the form of data, tools, and analytics. You will become a primary resource to the fleet program leads in developing our growing list of operational dashboards, reporting, and tracking tools. You will also get opportunities to work cross-functionally with other departments as a fleet representative to support data requests or to drive new initiatives. You will also be responsible for producing high quality reporting on a weekly, monthly, quarterly cadence.

What You’ll Do

• Take on additional responsibilities as necessary when new business needs arise
• Ensure reliability of all dashboards and queries as processes and priorities change
• Create Excel models and run ad hoc analysis as requested by leadership
• Interact with field leaders to collect feedback on current fleet initiatives and operational dashboard performance to refine our field facing tools and processes
• Create and maintain our ecosystem of dashboards that support a wide variety of fleet programs
• Support the fleet program leads in developing KPIs and Scorecards to track individual/program level progress
• Transform or enhance our current inventory master data set to develop new dashboards using custom SQL queries
• Monitor new-titled inventory balances daily to ensure pricing, configuration, and location accuracy
• Participate in department projects to improve systems or efficiencies
• Work with our business intelligence team to pull new data-points into our primary database and to resolve data issues
• Aggregate data to generate weekly/monthly/quarterly business reporting
• Assist the Tesla field teams with inquiries through our internal case management system
• Work cross-functionally with teams throughout the organization (i.e., Business planning, Finance, Delivery, Logistics, Demand Planning, Production) to drive fleet initiatives

What You’ll Bring

• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on demand despite changes in work scope or focus
• Ability to clearly document and communicate complex inventory reporting issues to finance and non-finance personnel
• Enthusiasm and aptitude for working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high degree of ambiguity and autonomy
• Strong quantitative critical thinking skills with advanced knowledge of Excel and retail math concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Minimum 3 years related work in accounting, retail planning, finance, or another decision-driving analytical role
• Aptitude to quickly learn new systems/technical applications. Experience with business intelligence software (Tableau, Power BI, MySQL, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to form solid relationships cross-functionally
• Open-minded, collaborative and team-oriented attitude with the ability to think outside the box for solutions to complex challenges
• Bachelor’s or master's degree in a numbers-oriented field, while not required, is a plus

Expected Compensation
$60,000 - $240,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
