Job Description

Russell Tobin and Associates is seeking an experienced Inventory Analyst for one of our top health and wellness clients in Emeryville, CA. Job Title: Inventory Analyst

Duration: 2.5 months (with the possibility of extension)

Pay: $38.68/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40hrs/week

Location: Remote - Emeryville. CA


Job Duties:

  • Partners with internal and external accounting departments to ensure terms of payment are met by archiving invoice data, managing databases, and keeping invoicing procedures current
  • Drives process and efficiency by supporting change or enhancements with 3PLs
  • Tracks inbound and outbound shipments and works with 3PLs and Co-packers to ensure on time delivery and carrier performance
  • Identifies any orders at risk of missing CRAD and works with carriers and Customer Service to meet customer requirements
  • Analyses and acts on metric reports in order to meet Food Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators
  • Ensures proper monitoring, recording and reporting of finished goods inventories and order status with internal partners and external third-party logistic (3PL) providers
  • Investigates and reconciles discrepancies with 3PLs to solve reoccurring problems
  • Suggests and partners to implement sustainability initiatives at assigned 3rd Party Distribution Centers


Requirements:

  • Shows ability to multi-task and adapt to constant change
  • Demonstrates a solid knowledge of logistics, inventory management principles and customer service, including the effect of inventory movements on general ledger and financial statements
  • Possesses strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exhibits strong attention to detail and the ability to readily identify and gather missing information
  • Connects and communicates well with internal and external partners
  • Manages time sensitive tasks, prioritizes work assignments and effectively meet deadlines


Education:

  • High School Diploma Required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
