WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview)


Under limited supervision, provide quantitative and qualitative analysis and decision support for business operations, planning and development, and program/project activities covering areas such as business development, human resources, finance, risk, administration, budget management, business information systems, logistics and contracts. Assist with determining requirements and translating them into organizational plans. Typically develop information on budget status, workforce level, equipment availability, and other business unit capabilities. May perform certain operational activities on behalf of business unit. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.


Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State and local regulations.


WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD (Key Responsibilities)


  • May coordinate certain operational support activities on behalf of business unit such as business development, human resources, administration, budget management, business information systems, logistics and contracts.
  • May conduct risk, resource, cost-benefit, variance, impact and/or other analyses of moderate complexity. May develop metrics for, and monitor performance of business unit, organization, initiatives, program/project, and/or business operations.
  • May develop modeling and reporting tools or other systems for monitoring and analyzing performance or data integrity.
  • May provide support for projects and operations including, but not limited to, analysis, reporting, market research, budget forecasting and scheduling.
  • Provide program planning support through data analyses. Analyze possible solutions using established policies and procedures. Conduct research, business plan analyses and feasibility studies. Identify trends and develop recommendations for issues of moderate complexity.

Individual contributor that works under limited supervision. Apply subject matter knowledge. Capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge.


Qualifications


Education: Bachelor's degree required.


Experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.


Management Experience: N/A


Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of applicable principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Basic proficiency in use of Personal Computer, word-processing, spreadsheet applications, and database applications when applicable. Ability to work on a team.


Travel: May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout chapter jurisdiction, state and Red Cross system.


  • Combination of candidate’s education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description’s minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).

The salary range for this position is: $55,000 - $65,000
