Job Description
Overview:
Expected pay for this position is $76,523.20-$90,043.20/annually. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Second in Command Pilot is responsible for the safe operation of the helicopter. The Second in Command Pilot maintains all standard procedures outlined in applicable FAA regulations and division policies. They are responsible for flight duties assigned by Pilot in Command and conducts operations as part of the flight crew.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
  • High School/ GED
Licenses/ Certifications:
  • Current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate
  • FAA Instrument Rotorcraft Rating
  • FAA Commercial Rotorcraft Certification
Experience:
  • 1000 Helicopter hours as Pilot in Command
Other:
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
  • Associates degree
Other:
  • Communication skills necessary to respond to stressful situations in a calm and rational manner
  • Demonstrates effective organizational skills and superior team work between all divisions of Aviation to ensure excellence in care to population served.
