This project has been in development since 2020. We've established our founding board, obtained our seed funding, and we're now building our Minimum Viable Product as I speak. So you're probably asking, "Where do I fit in?" Well, we need YOU to be a part of our founding team, that's what!

Once you are hired, on-boarded and joined-at-the-hip with our team, you will be the FOURTH developer in our startup cabal, and on the fast track to a SIGNIFICANT equity share of our startup company. Today, we're growing almost TOO FAST and are RAVENOUS for new founders who are the best at what they do. We are deeply committed to building a company as diverse and creative as the millions of people whom CyaSoon will reach worldwide.

CyaSoon is an IN-PERSON company, and currently requires our founders to join the team and "Spill the Same Blood in the Same Mud". We will cover your housing, food, and transportation costs, and supply a clean work environment with fresh air and big windows, not to mention enough spending money to survive the expensive Denver habitat. Our founders currently operate at a 90-100 hour weekly work schedule, working EVERY DAY of the week taking neither weekends nor holidays off. You absolutely MUST sleep eight hours each night and try for at least two hours of exercise daily to maintain your health during our work on this project. Food will be brought to you and your commute will be walkable. Your medical needs will all be met. And best of all, your drive to solve one of today's greatest challenges will be fulfilled!

About The Role:

We are looking for an AI Product Engineer to join our small but elite development team whose mission is to make CyaSoon an AI-powered product to its very core. As an AI Product Engineer, you will work on developing and implementing AI-powered products, incorporating large language models (LLMs), embeddings, and other AI technologies into CyaSoon’s product.

What you’ll achieve:

Work with the team to prototype, experiment and implement CyaSoon's core logic

Build and launch new AI technology integrations into CyaSoon's core product

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver product features on time

Stay up-to-date with the latest AI technologies and trends

Skills You'll Need to Bring:

Expertise in the design, develop, prototype, build, test, and deploy software engineering milestones, along with source control management, continuous integration, and test-driven development. You must understand how parts of a distributed client-server software application and ecosystem fit together, from the user interface to the data model to everything in between. You are familiar with relational database systems like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle or SQL Server and have experience building products from scratch, following an Agile Development methodology during the full Software Development Lifecycle.

Commitment to the BEST user experience: You should be able to partner closely with marketing, sales, and design teams to craft beautiful user interfaces and user experiences for large audiences, both foreign and domestic, leveraging web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and mobile app software development languages and frameworks such as Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, Angular, React and Vue.

Problem-solving: You approach problems HOLISTICALLY, starting with a clear and accurate understanding of the context. You think critically about the implications of what you're building and how it will impact real people's lives. You can navigate ambiguity flawlessly, decompose complex problems into clean solutions, while also balancing the business impact of what you’re building.

Empathetic Leadership: You communicate nuanced ideas clearly, whether you're explaining technical decisions in writing or brainstorming in real time. In disagreements, you engage thoughtfully with other perspectives and compromise when needed. You enjoy collaborating with both fellow engineers and cross-functional partners. Nice to Haves:

You have extensive experience building AI products using LLMs, embeddings and other ML technologies.

You're proficient (or have the ability to BECOME proficient [in a matter of DAYS {because you have extensive REAL-WORLD development experience}]) with any part of our technology stack: Swift/Kotlin/TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.

You have experience driving teams toward shared goals and can balance business priorities with individuals’ strengths, areas of interest, and career development goals.

You've heard of computing pioneers like Ada Lovelace, Douglas Engelbart, Alan Kay, and others — and understand why we're big fans of their work.

You have interests outside of technology, such as in art, history, nature, interpersonal communication, and physical fitness.

CyaSoon is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For this founding role, based in Denver, Colorado, the estimated base salary range is $150,000 - $180,000 per year.
