Job Description
n2y is a national leader in creating and delivering educational materials and curriculum for the special education classroom. The Agile Project Manager is responsible for utilizing agile and scrum methodology to support and execute the product development process and by clearing potential roadblocks, paving the way for project success. The Agile Project Manager will work collaboratively with Product Development and Technology teams to ensure delivery of high-quality technical solutions that drive key business strategies. The Agile Project Manager serves as a bridge between Product and Technology in order to successfully facilitate and enforce design, sprint, and release processes and workflows. The ideal candidate will be a creative, dedicated, and self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills who will fit with our collaborative and progressive culture.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Run Sprint Retrospectives to understand what went well, what did not, and ways to improve and increase quality and effectiveness
  • Run Backlog Refinement meetings in partnership with Technology Team Leads
  • Report on Sprint Progress and Status to applicable Technology & Business stakeholders and participants
  • Automate and streamline process flows using existing and new technology
  • Document progress toward sprint goal, obstacles, and action plans
  • Work with Architecture to understand timing of environment merges, copy downs, etc
  • Understand Sprint Capacity from Technology Leads and communicate to Product Development Leads
  • Run Bug Reviews with Product Stakeholders and applicable Technology team members
  • Assist with risk management to minimize project risks
  • Support Design Meeting administration by capturing and publishing agendas and summaries
  • Write and send out Release Notes internally
  • Relay updates, flags, status/progress to Product Development leads
  • Participate in process improvement efforts, research, standardization, and documentation
  • Work directly with Vendor Development Teams to ensure successful project completion
  • Work with Product Development Leads to understand and execute the current forecast and then update/document applicable systems
  • Run Daily Standups in partnership with Technology Team Leads
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Collaborate on internal product development training program and tools to facilitate employee onboarding
  • Assist in coordinating internal resources and vendors to meet project timelines
  • Demonstrate fluency in the established project management software and tools
  • Work closely with QA regarding testing status and viability of scheduled release date
  • Work with Product Development Leads to identify any hurdles related to Product Team and applicable business stakeholders


Desired Skills and Qualifications:


  • Excellent client-facing and internal written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
  • Scrum knowledge or exposure a plus
  • Travel estimated to be 1-5%
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of Agile software development a plus
  • Solid understanding of business and marketing concepts
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven, team atmosphere
  • Experience with Wrike preferred
  • Detail-oriented with demonstrated organizational skills and ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment
  • Education industry experience preferred
  • Proven work experience managing projects in a technology or software-based company
