This enterprise-level agile program manager will lead complex, highly visible and strategic ENGIE Impact programs using best practice program management methods.



PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the agile practitioner (Scrum Master) for multiple teams including: facilitating ceremonies, championing agile best practices, advocating for engineering.
  • Lead strategic, enterprise-wide programs, in support of ENGIE Impact strategic priorities.
  • Serve as a role model and mentor for project managers by using best practices in areas such as sponsorship management, project plans, RACI process, status reporting and issue management; change and decision logs; risk management and communications.
  • Assigned programs will be complex and typically include significant software development, business process development, and/or global services deployment.
  • For assigned programs, drive extensive cross-organization collaboration, identify trade-offs, work across functions and geographies, balance tactical and strategic initiatives, drive decisions, and communicate with executives. Be involved with hands-on operational activities where required.
  • Use project management best practices (methods, processes, tools) to lead and manage programs. Follow existing ENGIE Impact processes and templates and help define new methods and processes where required.
  • The program manager will work closely with an executive sponsor to lead a cross-functional team to define and execute the program. Teams will include leaders and project managers from software development, delivery operations, finance, marketing and sales.
  • As a member of the product organization, the agile program manager will contribute to the development of new and improved methods program management methods and tools.

Education/Certification/Knowledge:

  • Formal training in project and risk management. Agile project management experience preferred.
  • Degree in software engineering, or other technology based fields are preferred
  • Formal training in Agile development methods a plus.
  • Bachelors Degree required.

Experience:

  • 5+ years hands-on project and program management experience including leadership of large, complex technical projects and corporate strategic projects.
  • 3+ years experience with business planning, goals, metrics, scorecards and risk management preferred.
  • Business operations and or financial management experience is a plus.

Additional Information:

The pay range for this role is: $78,200- $117,300.

The listed salary range represents ENGIE’s good faith estimate and is based on a wide range of factors, including candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, qualifications, seniority, and location. This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Additional ENGIE benefits include a 401k plan, paid time off and annual bonus. ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws.
