Job Description
  • Growing IPP looking for a Development Manager to focus on projects in MISO|Ability for remote work in the US
About Our Client
A growing renewable energy company that has coverage across the US for Utility-scale solar, storage and wind projects. With a substantial pipeline of projects in both the early and delivery phase, our client are actively looking to grow their Development team. The main focus for this position will be within MISO although the role will offer support to projects in PJM + SPP too.

The Development Manager (MISO) will:
  • Manage external stakeholders supporting environmental assessment campaigns
  • Direct resource management processes and output estimates
  • Manage external stakeholders supporting property and sales tax abatement efforts
  • Acquire real estate rights for development opportunities
  • Effectively work with the existing Development team on Utility-scale projects
  • Maintain relationships with landowners and other local stakeholders
  • Manage occasional permitting activities with support from other divisions of the firm
  • Prepare project budgets, schedules, and RFP responses

The Successful Applicant
The Development Manager (MISO) will have:
  • 4+ years experience within the renewable industry or experience in the Utilities industry
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Ideally has exposure to utility-scale solar, wind or storage projects
  • Well-rounded project management experience
  • Advantageous to have project experience in MISO, PJM or SPP but not a necessity
