Job Description
Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates (KODA) is looking for a compassionate associate to join our Aftercare Department as an Aftercare Administrative Coordinator. This position will work closely with our Aftercare team and support them with various administrative duties out of our Louisville, KY office. This full time role will primarily focus on administration of the Family Aftercare Program. Working independently, the Aftercare Administrative Coordinator will diligently provide all KODA prescribed written interactions with donor families and other partners including all milestone correspondence and mailed support pieces. The Coordinator ensures team members receive requests to respond to donor families. This position is essential in ensuring that KODA maintain a professional and compassionate image, ultimately affecting public trust. In addition to adhering to the general KODA standards to promote a compassionate, dedicated & accountable work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building, specific duties for this role may include: Providing and ensuring consistent monthly Aftercare communications by coordinating process for all donor families (organ, tissue, eye) Identifying and developing relationships with key transplant center staff Processing Surveys Monitoring of Aftercare supply inventory and notifies Family Aftercare Manager when reorders of aftercare supplies are needed Assists with Donor in Spirit Program, as needed Assists with all special events including annual donor memorial services and other donor family events, as needed Conducts and maintains documentation related to Donor Family Quilt program and tracking system The ideal candidate for this role has the ability to work with an outgoing and compassionate team of people, a dedication to working in an organized manner and ability to handle multiple priorities, in addition to excellent phone and interpersonal communication skills. Minimum Requirements: Education : Associate degree in business or related field or equivalent experience as an administrative assistant required. Experience : 3-5 years of Administrative Assistant experience preferred. Proficiency in writing, computer, and organizational skills is required. Must be extremely detailed oriented and organized. Proficient use of Microsoft Office products is required.
