After School Program Leader

Summary

This position entails care of 5?10-year-old. You greet kids and administer their scheduled activates which include eating snack, playing on the playground and completing any homework. After those activities, there will be indoor involvement of tabletop projects. The children leave for home at varying times. At end of shift, there is the usual room clean up.

Kids 'R' Kids' teachers focus their efforts on executing Kids "R" Kids programs as designed. All tasks are to be performed within the Kids 'R' Kids policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulatory agencies.

Duties

Become familiar with Kids R Kids' After School Program Curriculum.
Manage classroom so that all children have expectation of behaving with respect and kindness.
Take measures to keep children safe.
Supervise their snack time promoting table manners.
Supervise outdoor play including both organized and free playtime.
Supervise the completion of homework assignments. (Seems to be little and no homework being assigned.)
Organize tabletop activities and supervise.
Communicate well with co-workers and management.
Clean work area at end of shift.
Hours 9:30-6:30 p.m. or parttime 2:00-6:30 p.m.
Requirements

The teacher's qualifications must meet or exceed state licensing requirements for the position.
These include background screening before you begin employment and completion of 45 hours of online classes as presented by the Department of Children and Families and CPR/First Aid Certification.

Hours 9:30-6:30 - p.m. (It is possible to begin work as late as 2 p.m. if you want part time.)
5 days weekly.
