Summary

clara by Vanguard, the aesthetics practice at Vanguard Skin Specialists, seeks an RN who will support one of our plastic surgeons and the aesthetics team. We seek a positive, compassionate RN who will help us further our mission to enrich the lives of others. The RN will provide non-surgical aesthetic services.

Schedule

• Primary locations are the Colorado Springs Briargate and Northgate offices.
• Approximately 25 hours per week for the initial three months, and then increasing to 36 hours per week

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide Patient Care

• Provide injection services, laser hair reduction, laser skin tightening, and IPL. Additional aesthetic services offered include RF skin tightening, Plasma IQ skin tightening, and predictive permeation facial treatments. These services may be added to the scope of practice with appropriate training and certification.

Patient Experience Management

• Support overall aesthetic team through participation in marketing events and initiatives
• Assist Plastic Surgeon with documentation of aesthetic patient visits, ensuring all files and chart notes are complete and accurate

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation is dependent on experience, $26-$30 per hour. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, and 401K. Benefits are in accordance with Vanguard’s benefits policy.

Reviews

Vanguard Skin Specialists believes in providing regular feedback and encouraging professional development. Your first informal review will be approximately 90 days from your date of hire, after that you will be included in the next of our fall review cycles for your formal reviews. This will be your first compensation review, and thereafter your compensation reviews will occur in the fall annually.

Requirements:

Required

• Certification in injectable services and laser operation
• Relates well to people
• Detail oriented, well organized, and meticulous
• Active Colorado RN license
• Graduate of accredited RN program
• Team player
• At least 2 years of experience as an RN

Preferred

• At least 2 years of experience in dermatology, plastic surgery, or aesthetic medicine

Physical Working Conditions

• Operate a computer and other office machinery, such as a telephone, calculator, printer, copier, scanner, or fax
• Must be able to move quickly between rooms in the office setting
• Knowledge of MSOffice and ability to develop knowledge of electronic health records system
• Able to drive to various locations in Vanguard geography
• Be able to communicate accurately, effectively and frequently both written and verbal
• Type at least 40 wpm

Offers of employment will be contingent on successful pre-employment screening for this position.
