The Opportunity:
An industry-leading aerospace and defense manufacturer is currently seeking an experienced project manager to join their team. As the Integrated Product Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in the detailed planning and execution of electronics-based development programs. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a cross-functional team through the development of complex electronic systems, ensuring the translation of the project schedule into daily tasks and proactively removing any obstacles that may arise. In this role, you will have the opportunity to guide a cohesive team through the entire electronics development process, aligning with overall program milestones, deliverables, and objectives. Collaboration with Program Management will be essential, as you will work closely with them to plan customer non-recurring deliverables, reviews, and development hardware, ensuring they support the overall program requirements.
As the Integrated Product Team Lead, you will take ownership of the creation and regular maintenance of a detailed project schedule. Additionally, you will oversee team action items, ensuring effective management, communication, and resolution. Your strong leadership skills will be critical in providing guidance and coordination for the design, development, and qualification activities necessary to achieve hardware and non-recurring deliverables. You will excel in understanding task interdependencies and managing shifting priorities. Additionally, you will facilitate internal communication to provide regular status updates and promptly address any issues that arise. In this role, you will also serve as an advisor to the Program Manager, offering valuable insights into significant schedule risks and their potential impacts. The Reward:
$100,000 to $130,000 plus 10% bonus, depending on experience, and excellent benefits. Relocation assistance is available.
The Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Electronics, with 3+ years of project management experience in product development in the aerospace and defense industry. Must be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident.
