GENERAL SUMMARY
Admissions Representatives work on an admissions team to recruit qualified applicants for admission to the school. Admission Representatives must comply with state and federal accreditation, along with company policies and regulations, while remaining consistent with the highest ethical standards. Admissions Representatives are also responsible for managing time and inquiry resources to generate interest in our program. This position will conduct a high quantity of prospect phone calls to secure appointments and interview activity and conduct follow-up activity with unresolved interviewees and future class applicants.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist other personnel and departments with data collection and problem-solving.
- Be an active participant in team activities and initiatives.
- Effectively communicate with the enrolled students to guide them through the online orientation and help them understand the importance of this activity as well as tracking their progress.
- Consistently conduct follow-up meetings with all applicants, daily, weekly or as needed to ensure successful matriculation.
- Manage inquiries to achieve prompt contact and performance activity weekly goals; utilize approved recruitment polices/formats; make prompt and effective contact with inquiries and redirect unqualified candidates based upon incompatible career goals.
- Accurately forecast projected new students on a periodic basis for Director of Admissions and Senior level management.
- Accurately and complete explain education programs, expected outcomes, student services and financial consideration to students and their support system if it pertains.
- Secure new inquiries (Personally Developed Leads) by directly asking phone contacts about referrals of others to contact that may be interested in the program offered.
- Other duties as required or assigned.
- Schedule and conduct interviews, pursue qualified candidates for enrollment, and determine appropriateness of candidates for admission based upon career goal compatibility.
Requirements
- Seeking 2+ years of Admissions experience - heavy outbound calling experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is strongly preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Nature of work requires an ability to operate standard business equipment. Siting for a long period of time; up to 8 hours of computer and/or phone work daily.
