This position exists to support the scanning of the Records Management Office, Quick Scan Center (QSC). The individual must be able to perform all tasks associated with the scanning operation. The position will also serve as a back-up to all QSC and RMO positions. The position will perform bookkeeping, accounting, statistical reporting, and other clerical duties. The position will supervise cross-trainees and others as needed.

Experience with high-speed commercial digital laser scanners and the ability to adjust to several software programs operating on the same PC. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to prep documents for scanning. Ability to train others. Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time. Excellent PC skills.

Responsibilities
- Prep documents for other departments using services.
- Perform image manipulations and edit as needed.
- Upload approved images into a permanent database for storage/retrieval.
- Make decisions based on established policies and procedures.
- Prep documents for Enrollment Services Management.
- Assists in planning, development, and implementation of scanning.
- Prioritize work in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality of sensitive documents.
- Validate, OCR, verify and disassemble documents.
- Perform clerical duties, maintain statistics, prepare reports and letters from drafts.
- Assist customers.
- Work independently.
- Supervise cross-trainees or others while performing the same duties.
- Cross-train on other QSC and RMO positions.
- Set up batch classes, batch, scan, and index documents using various software and scanners.
- High School or above technical training.
- Previous experience in document imaging and indexing.
- Experience with Microsoft, OnBase, SAP, Slate, and other capture software systems.
- Ability to multitask and move to different jobs to meet various deadlines.
- Ability to meet 24-hour turn-around deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge working OnBase, SAP, Slate, and other capture software systems.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions.
- Excellent computer and technical knowledge are required.
- Ability to transfer files from one computer system to another.
- Knowledge of working with high-speed scanners.
- Bookkeeping and accounting knowledge using SAP.
- Knowledge of working in SAP (IRIS), Microsoft Office, Adobe Pro, and excellent data entry skills with accuracy.
- Ability to answer phones, greet customers, and take messages.
