Join our dynamic team in the NA Safety Strategy & Planning Department as an Administrative Assistant (contract position). Support the Safety General Manager and the Safety department in driving safety initiatives across manufacturing and non-manufacturing operations in North America. Contribute to our goal of prioritizing safety, achieving outstanding safety performance, and fostering an incident-free workplace. Work at our Production Engineering and Manufacturing Center (PEMC) in Georgetown, KY, with a hybrid work arrangement that combines in-office and remote work. No extensive travel required.
Responsibilities
Provide direct support to the Safety General Manager, assisting with meetings, travel arrangements, reports, and more
Collaborate with the NA Safety department on administrative tasks, such as coordinating high-level and executive meetings, preparing materials, and documenting minutes
Offer administrative safety support to both manufacturing and non-manufacturing operations
Maintain and manage the Safety Division's Microsoft Teams pages and website
Handle departmental purchase orders (POs) and ensure their proper management
Administer the NA Region's Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) program and budget
Maintain training records for the NA Safety Department
Suggest process improvements, automation opportunities, and other ideas to enhance team efficiency
Support the coordination and onboarding activities for our co-op program
Qualifications
Associates Degree in Business, Communications, Safety, or equivalent experience
Minimum of two years of experience in an administrative role
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills and ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Bonus Points For

Familiarity with Ariba
Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Suite
Bachelor's Degree
