Trane is seeking an Administrative Assistant II for the Reno, Nevada location.
This role has been designated as On-Site –In-person. Work must be done on-site daily.
If you have at least Six (6) months to One-year (1) warehouse administrative and office administrative experience. Trane wants to hear from you!
What you’ll be doing:
The Administrative Assistant II is responsible for the coordination of the stores on-site activities, managing receipt, stocking, and shipping of products; staging and delivering customer orders; and all purchasing transactions with Trane and local vendors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for staging, shipping, and receiving parts, equipment, and supplies.
- Schedule and participate in internal project team meetings to ensure accurate transfer of information.
- Practices safe material handling techniques.
- Communicates effectively with other team members.
- Responsible for general administrative functions to include processing service claims – concessions, Ship Product Defect (SPD), retrofit, labor warranty, purchase orders, and initiating invoicing.
- Responsible for document maintenance and storage
- Responsible for generating, interpreting, and printing various assigned reports.
- Manages receipt, inspecting, and stocking products.
- Responsible for filing of freight claims for damaged goods.
- Responsible for determining inventory levels, identifying, and disposing of excess and obsolete inventory, and maintaining system inventory accuracy.
- Filing of M/S’s, freight bills of lading, equipment packing slips, etc. for inventory reconciliation and audit purposes.
- Coordinates operations interaction with the Parts Department and Acquisition, as necessary.
- Coordinates with various team members for accurate and timely recording of project costs, including materials, time sheets, labor hour allocation, daily reports, etc.
- Enters inventory into software system.
- Responsible for inventory control.
- Stocks the parts stores with an appropriate amount of merchandise.
What you'll bring to the table:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent and six (6) months to one-year (1) warehouse administrative and office administrative experience required.
- Familiarity with the operation of HVAC Systems preferred not required.
- Flexibility to work overtime/ weekends, as required.
- Participate in and contribute to lean improvements activities.
- Proven experience prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines within a high-paced environment.
- Must have strong communication skills, proactive approach with willingness to work independently as well as part of a team.
Base Compensation Range is $52,050-$69,450. Disclaimer: This base salary range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
