Job Description
We are hiring an Administrative Assistant I for one of our clients in Totowa, NJ.

  • Duties include: typing;
  • Answering general client questions;
  • Performing office support responsibilities in a county home energy assistance office.
  • Making copies and sorting mail.
  • Gathering and organizing documents;
  • Interacting with clients in person, via phone, email, fax and mail.
  • Answering telephones;
  • Responding to emails;
  • Reviewing documents submitted by clients;
Skills Required
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word)
  • Effective customer service skills.
  • Ability to type, utilize desktop computer, utilize multi-function photocopiers, utilize Microsoft Office.
Experience Required
  • Making copies and sorting mail.
  • Responding to emails;
  • Typing; gathering and organizing documents;
  • Reviewing documents submitted by clients;
  • Answering general client questions; answering telephones;
Work Hours
  • 8:30 am 4:30 pm, Monday Through Friday
  • Lunch Break: 12:00 pm 1:00 pm
Additional Information
  • The Totowa Office is not easily accessible by public transportation, so prospective candidates would most likely need personal transportation for this assignment. It would also be preferable if the candidates are Passaic County residents, but it is not a requirement, and please disregard this preference if it is not feasible.
  • Dress Code: Business Casual
