Administrative Assistant – Seeking Recent College Graduates

$20-$25 per hour

Our partner in Birmingham, AL is searching for a professional Administrative Assistant. This person will provide exceptional support to a department, division and manager(s) to

ensure smooth daily functioning of the organization. If you are eager to start your career and have the organizational skills needed please apply today!


Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of project close out documents, as needed.
  • Process and distribute all incoming & outgoing mail.
  • Schedule, plan, and coordinate meetings.
  • Create Expense Reports.
  • Handle phone calls from clients and vendors. Communicate messages received in effective manner.
  • Print and distribute weekly/monthly reports.
  • Create and distribute correspondence (memos, emails, letters, facsimiles, and binders).
  • Assist with arrangements for sales outings.
  • Order office supplies as needed.
  • Process all time cards for division, making sure properly coded and to Payroll, timely.
  • Type correspondence, purchase orders, owner change orders, reports, estimate proposals, etc.
  • Assist with processing pay applications, invoices, and purchase orders.
  • Maintain project filing system and scanning.


Job Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • College Graduate with some office experience (internship etc)
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Strong attention to detail
