FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Department of Art at Kingsborough Community College is seeking candidates to teach undergraduate courses in Studio Fine Arts (Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, and/or Design Foundations) for both majors and non-majors.

Performs teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise. Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.

Vaccine Requirement

Candidates will be required to provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencing employment. Exemption (medical or religious) requests to this requirement will be considered in accordance with applicable law. Being fully vaccinated is defined for this purpose as being at least two weeks past their final dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine regimen. Final candidates must be fully vaccinated as of their first day of employment. All CUNY employees must reside within a commutable distance to their campus.

Qualifications

For Adjunct Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor:

M.F.A. is required for Studio Arts

For Adjunct Lecturer

B.F.A. is required for Studio Arts

Compensation

Adjunct Lecturer: $91.67 - $98.40 per hour

Adjunct Assistant Professor: $100.00 - $106.41 per hour

Adjunct Associate Professor: $108.33 - $118.45 per hour

Adjunct Professor: $112.50 - $130.49 per hour

Salary Commensurate With Experience And Qualifications.
