Position: Adjunct Assistant Professor of Business

Department of Social Sciences at Lane College is accepting applications for the Adjunct position in Business. The Adjunct will work closely with the Department of Social Sciences faculty to Implement and instruct students using various instructional modes for traditional, hybrid or online setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute teaching strategies, monitor and evaluate student progress, and maintain accurate student records.
• Participate in department, division, and college meetings.
• Attend scheduled Department, division, and college staff meetings.
• Teach 2 courses ( 6 hours).
• Advise and mentor students.
• Contribute to the College and community environment.

Qualifications:

• Excellent computer, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
• Ability to teach Business Law courses.
• Sitting for long periods of time, walking, climbing stairs, bending and stretching may be required at a minimum of1% of the time.
• Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Law
