We are seeking an Actuarial Assistant to join our Actuarial team in Wilkes-Barre, PA or New York, NY.

Responsibilities to Include:

Assist Property and Casualty actuaries in actuarial analysis of insurance company rates, reserves, coverage terms, and rating rules. The position will include work on pricing, reserving, product development, regulatory filings and other key projects.

Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, engineering, physics, chemistry, statistics, actuarial science or another field with a rigorous mathematics background. Experience in a full time actuarial position or prior internship experience in actuarial work and successful completion of one or more actuarial exam(s) of the Casualty Actuarial Society is helpful but not required. Salary: $50,000-$75,500 (Starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience).
