Responsibilities:
Gallagher Re is one of the world’s leading reinsurance advisory and broking firms following the recent merger between Willis Re and Gallagher. By connecting risk and capital, we help the global insurance industry, governments and society at large manage and mitigate extreme risk – from natural catastrophes such as floods, earthquakes, hurricanes and pandemics, to technological or political risks such as cyber and terrorism. We bring together sophisticated analytics capabilities, risk transfer and transactional expertise to provide advice and counsel to our clients. We help these clients interpret the data to guide their decisions surrounding the management of their risk portfolio.

As a Reinsurance Actuarial Analyst you will...
... be immersed in front line actuarial work for our insurance clients. Your daily work life will include:
Conducting analyses for client meetings and new business pitches
  • Developing expertise in Gallagher Re proprietary financial modeling and reinsurance optimization data delivery
  • Lead data collection and manipulation within spreadsheets and other database applications
  • Interaction with broking counterparts in a team-based environment
  • Assisting in the creation and conceptualization of reinsurance pricing models and actuarial benchmark pricing

Qualifications:
Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Passed 1-3 actuarial exams (preferred)
  • Interest in pursuing actuarial designation from the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS/FCAS)
