Job Description

SUMMARY

Location: Sun Outdoors Paso Robles

Position Type: Non-Management

The starting pay rate for this position is $17.00 - $18.00 per hour.

As our Activities Coordinator, you will create, plan, and coordinate a variety of activities for the resort.

This position may require flexible scheduling availability.

Job Requirements:

  • Create, plan, coordinate, and attend all activities such as picnics, sporting events, dances, and dinners
  • Assist with ensuring all invoices are paid in a timely manner while documenting all payments
  • Help maintain a tracking sheet to monitor attendance, vendor utilization, income, and expenses for each activity
  • Purchase supplied to successfully carry out activities and group events
  • Maintain accurate office ad activity supply inventories
  • Help with and organize fundraising activities to support the department
  • Assist with producing a calendar of events for the next calendar season, while staying withing budget expectations
  • Ensure all equipment and supplies are kept in good condition
  • Set up and clean up after events
  • Assist with preparing the weekly newsletter and distribute to resort guests
  • Ensure a high standard of activities, services, and products are being offered
  • Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests

Job Qualifications:

  • Flexibility to work events during non-business hours
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to negotiate prices/contracts on behalf of the resort
  • Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
