Haven Homes, a 5-star rated senior care campus, is hiring compassionate, creative individuals to join our team as Therapeutic Activities Coordinators. In this role, you will assist in implementing activity programs for our independent, assisted living and memory care unit. Our ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and has a positive attitude.

There are Full-Time, benefit eligible positions available working a varied schedule including every third weekend. Hours: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Therapeutic Activities Coordinator responsibilities:

• Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Document activity attendance and degree of involvement.
• Act as a positive representative at all times.
• Encourage, support, and assist residents with activities.
• Assist in implementing Therapeutic Activity programs to meet the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual needs of all residents in skilled nursing facility, assisted living, and memory care.
• Maintains accurate attendance documentation for all residents.
• Perform other related tasks as needed.
• Interact and assist residents on a one to one basis outside of structured program times.

Therapeutic Activities Coordinator skills and requirements:

• Demonstrate good time management, organizational skills and positive attitude.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Ability to work with senior adults with disabilities and their families in nonjudgmental, patient and professional manner.
• 2+ years professional experience in a health care or childcare related activity program setting preferred.
