Job Description

Sr. Manager of Customer Acquisition Growth - Ecommerce


We are seeking a growth expert to oversee the media buying strategy and customer acquisition efforts on multiple paid media channels across our portfolio of brands. The ideal candidate will have been part of an 8 figure revenue brand and had experience as the leader in helping scale that brand via multiple paid digital channels. This individual should be comfortable allocating and overseeing a $1M+ monthly budget of which $500K+ of that being on Meta. As we continue to scale budgets, this individual will be pivotal in helping launch new ad platforms and test new technologies with a focus on profitable customer acquisition. Additionally this team member will oversee our paid media buyers and work cross functionally with our creative and ecomm teams. This person will have a strong analytical background and enjoy finding new ways to acquire new customers, while helping grow five well known beauty brands.


Responsibilities include:

• Managing the $1M+ month marketing budget and optimizing spend distribution with a focus on customer acquisition across all channels to meet performance and revenue/profitability targets. • Lead the growth marketing team and oversee/collaborate on the creative process to ensure the effective production and development of high-performing assets.

• Maintain a strong understanding of ecommerce/digital marketing trends and best practices especially as they relate to the beauty industry.

• Create revenue and budget forecasts, while delivering on monthly/quarterly goals around customer acquisition costs, net profitability, contribution margin, etc.

• Collaborate with the email/sms and product teams to improve and engage with increasing customer LTV, AOV repeat purchase rates.

• Develop benchmarks and targets for the growth marketing team to understand what success looks like across multiple attribution touchpoints.

Qualifications


• 3+ Years experience in ecommerce with a focus on customer acquisition and growth • Has managed marketing budgets of $500K - $1M a month or greater

• Strong understanding of media buying across Facebook and Google Ads as well as a familiarity with TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc.

• High level of experience using Shopify and Google Analytics as well as a familiarity with Klaviyo, Supermetrics, other analytics and reporting attribution tools

• Extremely organized, diligent, detail-oriented and motivated

• Has experience overseeing team and working across multiple brands and projects at the same time

• Strong communication, analytical and creative skills

• Passion for the ecommerce, beauty, and digital industry

• Hybrid work environment ~3/4 days a week in the NYC Office
