Accounts Receivable Specialist Jobs

We are seeking a results-oriented and detail-focused Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Carry out daily cash management tasks, including recording bank deposits, updating and distributing cash receipt logs, and posting cash transactions to the accounts receivable sub-ledger.
• Proactively monitor and pursue the collection of outstanding accounts receivable by initiating contact with clients via telephone, email, and mail, while maintaining professionalism and excellent communication skills.
• Gather and meticulously verify invoices to ensure they have appropriate documentation prior to payment processing.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts receivable, ensuring proper aging of receivables, application of credits and collections, accounting for uncollectible amounts, and resolving miscellaneous discrepancies.

Requirements:

• Proficient in Excel
• Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and customers.
• 2+ years experience in Accounts Recieveable
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
