Accounts Payable Specialist Jobs

We are currently seeking candidates for an Accounts Payable Specialist at a consumer goods co. located in Fall River, MA, 02720. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience processing high volume invoices and supplier set ups and check/wire requests.

This role is a 6+ month temporary assignment (with an opportunity of becoming permanent) that will pay up to $40.00 per hour (based on relevant work experience) within a 40-hour work week.

Responsibilities:

• Work with suppliers/vendors to resolve account discrepancies and payment issues
• Assist with month-end closing
• Maintain invoice volume, cycle time accuracy goals
• Accurately code (General Ledger) and enter invoices for payment
• Work with suppliers to resolve account discrepancies and payment issues
• High-volume preparation of weekly payments
• Review and/or process a high volume of invoices
• ACH/check/wire requests

Qualifications:

• Accuracy and attention to detail is a must
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong sense of urgency
• 2+ years of accounting/accounts payable experience preferably in a high volume environment
