Job Description

SIG has a part-time job opening for an Accounts Payable Assistant at our headquarters in Bala Cynwyd, just minutes from Center City Philadelphia. Our team collaborates with both internal teams (such as Accounting, Procurement, HR and Information Technology) and external vendors to support high volume vendor invoice processing for goods and services utilized across the firm.

In this role, you will:

  • Upload, code, and manage the Corporate Credit Card expense reports and online storing system (Content Central)
  • Review signed payments – upload backup when necessary and mail out checks
  • Invoice processing, personal expense reimbursement
  • Organize and sort weekly check runs (as needed basis)
  • Review corporate card expense reports for GL accuracy and that all receipts are provided
  • Sort mail and distribute internally
  • Provide administrative support to the AP Specialists including learning some of their day-to-day jobs to assist when they are out of the office


What we're looking for:

  • High school diploma required
  • Visa sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position now or in the future
  • Willingness to take on new and non-routine assignments
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience as an administrative assistant or clerk
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work with minimum supervision
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications – Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Prior AP experience beneficial, but not necessary
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
