  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations for various insurance companies.
  • Prepare journal entries for payroll
  • Assist team members with special projects and month end closing

Requirements:



  • One to three years of general accounting experience and/or 9-12 hours of college accounting classes.
  • Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheet capability
  • Some knowledge of GAAP preferred.
  • Basic accounting functions; preparation of general ledger and financial statements
  • Analytical skills
  • Basic level of information technology systems, a plus
  • Leadership skills
  • Organizational skills to prioritize many projects/tasks during abbreviated work hours
  • Basic PC knowledge required, including email, online viewing and data entry systems
  • Communications skills
