The Neurovascular Operating Unit provides a comprehensive portfolio of proven, powerful neurovascular technologies, setting the highest standards of integrity and reliability in Acute Ischemic and Hemorrhagic Stroke Care.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following, and other duties may be assigned.

  • Obtains and provides technical information on matters of significant importance to the job areas.
  • Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
  • May be responsible for working with supervisor to identify potential adjustments or enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve the effectiveness of job area.
  • Performs technical activities more complex in nature with a larger impact.
  • Trains and reviews the work of lower-level employees and may be responsible for leading the daily operations of a work team.
  • Performs various electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical duties.
  • Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
  • Work consists of technical tasks of the highest complexity.
  • Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
  • Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements


  • Minimum of 4 years of electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.

The provided base salary range is used nationally in the United States (except in Puerto Rico and certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
