Accounting Intern Jobs

Summary

CHS Inc. is looking for an Accounting Intern to support the accounting team at United Quality Cooperative in New Town, North Dakota. In this internship, you will develop an understanding of all accounting departments with a focus on energy accounting. Through job shadows and on the job training, this intern will learn accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures, day to day operations in accounting systems and month end processes. You must be detail oriented with excellent communication skills both written and verbal. The intern is expected to conduct themselves in a courteous and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Learn accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures
• Gain an understanding of the accounting function at a cooperative
• Help with invoicing and management of inventory
• Assist the accounting department with day-to-day operations and month end processes

Minimum Qualifications (required)

• Working towards a degree in accounting or other related degree program
• This internship is ideal for a student completing his/her junior year of study

Additional Qualifications

• Previous internship experience in accounting
