Accounting Clerk Jobs

Next Level Solutions is a Baton Rouge-based company that provides accounting, technical and human resource services for a variety of clients. Some work is done on-site but we also work remotely. This is an hourly position that requires 20-30 hours/week on-site for a Baton Rouge client, with the balance of the time spent working remotely based on client needs (total hours may not be 40 hours every week). Benefits available.

General Duties To provide accounting services for one or more clients, including but not limited to:

• Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers
• Performing general bookkeeping duties (making journal entries, etc.)
• Preparing and analyzing budgets
• Handling accounts payable
• Performing bank account reconciliations and financial statement review
• Maintaining spreadsheets and databases

Job Requirements

• Work experience in medical environment a plus
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in bookkeeping or accounting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to learn new software applications.
• Wrike experience preferred
• Effective communication skills
