SUMAMRY: Assist the Accounting Department with completing timely and accurate daily billing, tasks, and reconciliation of schedules.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES: To include but are not limited to the following:
  • Must have accounting background for at least two years.
  • Accurate input of information, invoices, receipts, correspondence, spreadsheets and other documents.
  • Performs variety of clerical duties including scanning, researching, and data entry.
  • Review incoming documents for accuracy, determine discrepancies and request additional information as needed.
  • Abide by all policies and procedures of the organization.
  • Compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices, billing and checks, to substantiate vehicle purchases.
  • Microsoft Excel and Office background is required.
  • Working knowledge of CDK or similar Dealership Management System a plus.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Automotive knowledge of accounting a plus.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure and use a 10 key calculator.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with problems in a calm manner and use prudent problem solving skills. Ability to pay close attention to detail. Accuracy is of the utmost importance.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to deal effectively with the public and to present a professional and courteous attitude. Ability to use basic office machinery such as a computer, calculator, and scanner.
Must have positive, patient, cooperative, and pleasant attitude towards all. Customer Service skills that portray an attitude of gratitude must be displayed at all times.
