Key Technology has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Accountant position.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a positive attitude and love working with Excel. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for financial statement review, Excel spreadsheet creation and manipulation, while reporting to the Senior Controller.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Assisting with full cycle Cash Management/Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes as needed
• Lead the monthly financial closing and prepare the monthly financial reporting packet
• Prepare and review Balance Sheet account reconciliations
• Manage audit fieldwork and relationship with external auditors for financial audits
• Performing other related duties and participating in special projects as assigned
• Support the quarterly financial reforecasting
• Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions

Requirements

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs required)
• Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
• BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or Business; and five to seven years of experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects

Desired Skills And Experience

• Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is a plus
• General ledger experience
• Detail oriented
• Self-starter and strong ethical standards
• Account reconciliation experience
• Ad Hoc Financial Analysis experience
• Month-end Close Activities experience
